Author's Notes
Morning readers!
Finally the story has started! This is just a quick first chapter (or like an intro chapter really) as a look into the company. It's still rough around the edges as I'm finishing off the details and I'm sorry it took so long but I was bogged down by my classes. I think that starting next save file I'll start focusing on each character individually, switching around points of views because it heavily influences the focus / focuses. Anyways, enjoy.

P.S. After this is the teasers for VestiaScocen then Guardian. I'm debating whether or not there will be a save file in between.

There was something distinctly terrifying about knowing that the girl who was barking about fifteen different orders at an even larger group of people with confidence was his twin sister.
Talk about pressure.
He eyed the exit off to the side.
"Aaron!"
And there went his escape.
"Eevee!" he returned, smiling brightly despite his sister's no-nonsense look. "Eevee, Eevee, Eevee. To what do I owe the pleasure-"
"Give these two the usual introduction. They'll be in the room at the end of the hall," she ordered, cutting him off without remorse. She glanced to the clipboard in her arms before throwing him a look. "They're both unassigned still but they'll probably be with the Recoverers."
With that, she left without turning back. It was only once she was swallowed in the flow of people did he realize she had left him alone with two other people. Both males, at least two inches taller than himself and Asian (oh God Eevee, what if they didn't speak English? or French?), stared at him for a few seconds before he decided to just yolo it.
" 'Sup," he greeted, smiling and putting out a hand. "I'm Aaron. I'll give you guys the grand tour, er?"
"Wonjun," one of the duo inserted in clear but accented English, taking his hand politely and smiling. "This is Taekwoon. As she said, we're new."
"I could tell," he teased, chuckling. "She get you the two the guide?"
"You're talking about this book here, right?" Wonjun clarified, holding up a small pamphlet. The two Asians falling into step with the European.
"That'd be it," he confirmed, hitting the elevator button up. The cover was simple and plain, the words "The Guide to Survive" written across the front in smooth but large letters.
"It's a list of phone numbers," Taekwoon muttered, eyes skimming the lines inside the booklet.
"Think of it as an emergency contact list," he explained, hoping that there wasn't a misprint like in the first batch that had been delivered. The elevator arrived, and he stepped into the elevator, pressing the button for the seventh floor. From the corner of his eye, he saw Wonjun guide the other in with one hand on the small of his back while Taekwoon was nose-deep in the mini manual.
Oh. Oh.
"It's a list of common problems and who to talk to," he continued to explain, giving the two a quick glance - yup, hand still on the other's back. "If you look on the last page, it has a general map and where you go for certain things too. Long story short, it's your lifeline in this place if you don't want to bother your boss all the time. Anyways, I'm getting ahead of myself."
He took a breath.
"Quick floor run down, the first three are of a mini emergency hospital. It's mostly for our cover but also if something goes wrong while we're beating the game and it does actually function as a hospital," he explained, ticking them off on his fingers. "Fourth floor is the cafeteria - and yes, all the food is free for us but don't go too crazy - and the fifth floor is where all the crazy security stuff is. If you feel like anyone suspects that this building isn't just a hospital, you tell them. The sixth floor, where we're going to go after showing you two your rooms, is where all our workplaces are but honestly, it's a bunch of giant glorified game rooms which is why we call it the game floor. The seventh and eight floor are the dorms - guys and girls respectively, mostly - and finally, the ninth floor is the labs for the scientists trying to safely disconnect us from the game. Any questions so far?"
"What about the tenth floor?" Wonjun asked, pointing to the final button in the elevator clearly marked "10."
"Oh right. That's the meeting room for the heads of each division, but it's rarely used," he answered, exiting the elevator and walking down the halls with the two guys at his heel. "So to explain the divisions, there's three - the Rescuers, the Recoverers, and the Recruiters. There's a fourth group - the Linkers - but you can't choose to be a Linker so it's a moot point unless one day you're chosen, in which case they'll explain more then."
He finally stopped at the end of the hal
